PRODUCTION & OPERATIONS - SUPPLY-CHAIN
Main Goal
Within the Vilmorin Mikado Business Unit, made up of 2 sites: one near Angers (France) and one near Tokyo (Japan), you will develop your vision for the Supply Chain in its entirety: seed production, seed processing and technology, quality control, planning and demand management, as well as manufacturing. You will champion transformation projects and business continuity, supporting this and Vilmorin Mikado's business objectives. You will play a key role in the development of high performance teams and employees.
Job description
Surrounded by 8 direct collaborators, your missions will revolve around :
Strategy:
- You make a strong contribution to Vilmorin Mikado's strategic decisions.
- You will define the strategic ambitions of Vilmorin Mikado's Supply Chain and translate these ambitions into a multi-year roadmap,
- You execute the strategy by defining the structuring principles for the evolution of the organization and by sharing clear processes and KPIs.
- You develop your network with your Business Line counterparts and with external partners, with the aim of sharing innovations and best practices.
Supply chain management:
You will lead S&OP arbitrations at global level.
You will plan, develop and manage the CAPEX required for Supply Chain activities, on production farms, industrial facilities, Quality Control...
You make every effort to :
- guarantee overall satisfaction of customer needs.
- optimize overall inventory levels
- optimize costs.
- improve the maturity of the Supply Chain organization in line with the Business Unit's strategy.
You are the leader of major Supply Chain projects.
You are attentive to compliance with all national and international seed laws and regulations, as well as to the safety of people and property at production, quality and industrial sites.
Human development:
You are responsible for developing the potential of each individual, while ensuring smooth collaboration between each team. To this end, you are responsible for

Skills: what we expect of you
You have a Master's degree in Agronomy, Business or Engineering.
You have significant experience in management positions in matrix structures. You have worked in the seeds sector or in a similar sector related to living organisms.
You have worked with multicultural teams and are fluent in English and French.
A true inspirational leader, you have already led significant structural changes.

You are willing to travel around 20% of the time.
