RESEARCH & INNOVATION - RESEARCH OPERATIONS
Main Goal
As a Quality and Performance Support Engineer, you will be responsible for aligning and anchoring the Traits & Technologies (T&T) Department within the quality management system of Groupe Limagrain and Field Crops Research.
You help define and implement the Department's Quality policy within the various platforms and teams (laboratories, greenhouses, fields). Together with the platform managers, you are responsible for ensuring that we maintain international standards of Quality and responsible management.
Your scope of action includes our main site at the Chappes Research Center in Auvergne, a site in the Netherlands and a site in the United States, which involves 3 to 4 international trips per year.
Job description
Working closely with the Quality & Risk Management Department and the Process Efficiency team, you will contribute to the performance and overall consistency of the Traits & Technologies department's quality approach, with your main responsibilities being to..:
- Organizing the deployment phases of the T&T Quality Management System.
- Defining and proposing priorities for T&T's Quality action plan.
- Steering the network of quality coordinators at research platforms.
- Relay T&T's Quality policy and decisions/orientations to the teams.
- Supervise the implementation of applicable guidelines and standards.
- Training teams and leading working groups, notably as part of the continuous improvement process.
- Follow-up of non-conformities and participation in root cause identification and resolution by monitoring the progress of agreed action plans.
- Help define KPIs and contribute to their monitoring.
- Collaborate with T&T management and platform managers to prepare, manage and monitor internal/external audits, including audits for certification purposes (e.g. Excellence Through Stewardship).
- Organization and management of process and management reviews.
- Administration of the internal document management tool (WIN) for T&T and provision of user support.
Skills: what we expect of you
- Engineer/Master's 2 in biotechnology, biology or other life science discipline, with a specialization in Quality Assurance
- 3 to 5 years' experience in an equivalent position
- Good communication skills
- Expertise in project management and coordination
- Perseverance and the ability to make proposals

Recruitment process
Our recruitment process consists of several stages:
