As part of the cross-functional activities at the Chappes Research Center (CRC), you will be responsible for managing the centralized reception and shipment of packages and pallets for the site, as well as their dispatch and collection across various buildings.

This shipping and receiving activity must be maintained year-round by a two-person team to ensure service continuity.

1. Primary Activities: Centralized Shipping and Receiving
Receive packages and pallets delivered by carriers.
Check the condition of packages and verify the compliance of delivery notes.
Dispatch packages and pallets between different buildings and teams.
Inform recipients of the arrival of their packages.
For certain types of packages, you will be responsible for unpacking to inspect the contents before dispatch.
Collect packages and pallets for transfer between buildings and/or shipment via carriers.
Prepare packages and pallets for shipping on behalf of certain teams.
Organize shipments for some teams, including handling specific shipping instructions for equipment.
Load and/or make packages and pallets available for carriers.

2. Secondary Activities Alongside Daily Tasks
Maintain supply levels necessary for service continuity and ensure proper stock management.
Keep up with technological and logistical advancements to improve service performance.
Work on continuous improvement in collaboration with team members:
Identify constraints and non-conformities to develop alternative and corrective solutions.
Optimize the workspace.
Apply 5S methodology for workplace organization.

You hold a Bac Professionnel  in logistics or inventory management and have some relevant experience in a similar role.
You have a good command of IT tools.
You are comfortable using handling equipment.
