You ensure the implementation of the maize experimentation network, in compliance with phenotyping protocols, under the responsibility of the Regional Phenotyper, and in close collaboration with their team.
You receive seeds and prepare the sowing.
You set up and monitor experimental trials (sowing, notations, harvesting), ensuring the quality of their execution and follow-up in compliance with the requirements of current protocols and methodologies.
You maintain regular contact with various farmers and ensure the application of technical guidelines.
You plan and organize the harvests.
You operate and perform maintenance on agricultural machinery/experimental equipment.
You manage the experimentation network digitally using Excel and other internal software.
You contribute to the improvement of methods and tools used (equipment, projects, etc.).
You supervise temporary employees involved in experimental activities.
You comply with all safety instructions.
You hold a BAC to BAC+3 degree in agriculture and/or plant experimentation. First experience is welcome.
You have proficient computer skills.
English proficiency is a plus.
Having a Certiphyto certification would be an advantage.
You possess a valid category B driving license.
You are meticulous and have strong planning skills. You communicate easily and enjoy teamwork. You have a strong preference for fieldwork. The seasonality of the activity and occasional travel are not an issue for you.
