PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
As part of the general policy defined by the General Management, the North Italy Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving commercial development in the Northern Italy Area. This role includes full hierarchical responsibility for the sales team within the assigned territory.
Leveraging his expertise and in close collaboration with the Product Development team, the Area Sales Manager will identify the market opportunities and initiatives to reinforce HM.CLAUSE's leading position, expand market penetration of our innovative varieties and cultivate strong, strategic relationships with key customers in the North Italy Market.
Vos Missions
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing sales in the area by maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers and, when necessary, expanding the customer base.
- Directly managing major accounts, working closely with the sales team to ensure alignment and optimal customer service.
- Creating and executing a sales plan, providing accurate and detailed market and sales forecasts, and overseeing commercial and operational budgets.
- Leading, motivating, and developing the sales team to achieve performance targets and foster a high-performing culture.
- Implementing and optimizing the use of CRM tools to enhance sales effectiveness and customer relationship management.
- Contributing to portfolio, pricing, go-to-market, communication, and sales strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinating with key internal departments, including Customer Service, Marketing, Safety & Quality, Communication, Finance, and Human Resources, to support business operations and management initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or Engineering diploma in Agriculture or Agronomy.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in the seed or agricultural industry within the region. Prior successful experience in management is highly valued.
- Skills:
o Native Italian speaker with advanced English proficiency.
o Strong leadership and management skills.
o Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural work environment.
o Excellent organizational, autonomous, and negotiation skills.
- Location: The position is based in Northern Italy (mandatory).
- Travel Requirements: Moderate travel outside Italy, with potential assignments at a continental or transcontinental level.
