Under the responsibility of the Regional Phenotyper (RP), decide and participate in the implementation of high-quality trial networks for Corn, Sunflower and Cereals in the area of responsibility.

Mission:
 Identify good farmers and good fields to perform the trials.
 Give the necessary information to the RP to establish the contracts.
 Build the field maps according to the decision of the RP.
 Decide the sowing priorities in the area and realize the sowing.
 During the crop development do all the necessary actions in order to optimize the trial quality.
 Help the RP to define the best schedule for scoring and harvest.
 Participate to the scoring
 Harvest the trials, participate to the control of the data and introduce them into the IT system.
 Communicate efficiently with the RP and the different stakeholders when required


• Machinery
 Organize the transportation of the different machinery.
 Be the contact of the area for the digital support teams.
 Together with the research associate assistant (RAA) maintain correctly all the equipment.
 Ensure the safety of the agricultural machinery and its operators, following the internal regulations.


• Management
 Manage a team of a research associate assistant (RAA) and seasonal workers. Organize the work and be responsible for the safety, following all the procedures defined by the RP and regularly exchanging with his/her team to identify potential issues.

• Education background: Agricultural engineer or similar (Minimum Bachelor´s Degree in Agronomy)
• Experience in field crops management (2 years of experience in a similar position would be valued)
• Demonstrated knowledge in Agronomy and agricultural machinery.
• English: At least an intermediate level is required. Need to be able to exchange with European teams.
• Flexible regarding traveling inside the country and occasionally for an international travel.
• Familiarity with MS Office or similar.
• Drone operator license (valuable)
• Good ability to work in a team.
• Good communication skills
