Main Goal
Reporting to the manager of the Trait Expression and Vectoring team, you will work within the team on cloning activities as well as on molecular and biochemical analyses.
Job description
You will be responsible for producing the vectors necessary for achieving plant genome editing and modification events (GE and GM).
You will perform molecular and biochemical analyses, strictly adhering to the established procedures and quality standards within the department.
You will work closely with the production teams to ensure smooth execution of protocols and the reliability of the results.
You will collaborate synergistically with other research teams within the Genome Engineering Platform (GEP) as well as with the GE development team to optimize methods and share technical advancements.
Skills: what we expect of you
Do you hold a Master’s degree in plant biotechnology?
Do you have three or more years of laboratory experience?
Are you proficient in standard molecular biology techniques (DNA extraction, PCR, bacterial handling) and conventional biochemical methods (Western Blot, ELISA, etc.)?
Then this position will surely interest you!
Experience with office tools (Word, Excel, etc.), molecular biology software (e.g., Geneious), and laboratory data management software (Gregor) is required.
Technical English proficiency is also essential.
