SUPPORT FUNCTIONS - FINANCE

Main Goal

In the frame of Limagrain Finance organization and processes, as the Head of Finance BSA Brazil of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and maximizing value creation. In addition to the traditional financial responsibilities, you will also oversee IT solutions and Sales administration in Brazil. Your ability to balance financial acumen with technology management and sales administration will be essential for our success.

You will have direct reports in Brazil and Chile, will report hierarchically to the Head of BSA Brazil and functionally to the Limagrain Field Seeds Global Head of Finance and will be a member of the BSA Brazil Committee.

Job description

 

Financial Leadership of the BSA:

 

·       Collaborate with the Head and the Committee of BSA Brazil, Head and management Team of Territory to develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth and profitability, and measure the performances in the BSA.

·       Collaborate with the LFS Head of Finance and participate in the Group and LFS CFOs community.

·       Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

·       Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and investment decisions.

·       Collaborate with the Group treasury team in order to manage currency impacts by proposing and implementing relevant actions, following Group’s treasury guidelines and processes.

·       Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with local and group accounting standards.

·       Closely with the LFS Head of Finance, ensure regular and accurate business dashboards of BSA Brazil to show the evolution of activity from the perspective of financial forecasts and as part of monitoring the overall performance of LFS.

·       Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled flexible organization that requests strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communication, and efficient workflows.


 

IT Solution Management:

In collaboration with the LFS head of IT:

·       Oversee the IT Solution Manager and technology team.

·       Align IT objectives with business goals.

·       Evaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

·       Ensure data security and privacy compliance.

 

Brazil Sales Administration: 

·       Manage the sales administration team.

·       Monitor sales processes, performance metrics, and revenue targets.

·       Collaborate with sales leaders to optimize sales operations.

 

Strategic Partnership:

·       Act as a strategic partner to the Head of BSA Brazil, advising on business decisions and risk mitigation.

·       Contribute to evaluation of major investments.

·       Communicate effectively with key stakeholders.


 

Risk Management:

·       Identify and manage risks associated with finance, IT, and sales administration matters.

·       Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization.


 

Team Leadership:

·       Lead a talented finance team, IT professionals and sales administrators, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

·       Model best practices in financial management and team collaboration.

 

Skills: what we expect of you

• Proven experience of 10+ years as a CFO or Senior Finance Executive in Brazilian Agribusiness is a must.
• Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership abilities.
• Working experience in South America and in business management is a must.
• Familiarity with IT management and technology solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, general management best practices and performance management principles.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English are a must and Spanish is a plus.
